There is no denying that he was deserving of this honor. It's so great that all of his hard work (both on and off the court) is being rewarded.
Congratulations to Foster, as well. I thought it would certainly go to Campbell. I'm glad that they're able to share the honor. You've got to love
the great Bronco presence on the all-freshman team. Go Broncos!

Wow. To think he beat out Mills and pretty much the Zags starting 5. Nice honor. I think the Portland game helped lock it up.
Anybody care to run down the last time SCU had three All-WCC frosh? |

Congrats Bronco fans on Bryant ....... Well deserved MVP, and on Foster and your other two Freshman ...... Not something I'm looking forward to over the
next 3 years . Foster will be a WCC MVP very soon.

What have we been saying about KK all along?? The man can RECRUIT. Look forward to the coming years as these young broncs develop! Congrats to Big John and the

My perspective is that Bryant was probably the best big man we've had in the 30 years I've watched Bronco basketball.
Vanos was up there, but I'd give the edge to Bryant. Both improved dramatically their Frosh - Senior years as a lot of centers do so I guess I'm talking about one individual season. This year of course. It's a shame all the talent we had to surround him with were 2-3 freshman. Oddly, I think 1-2 of those freshman will end up being outstanding players too. Congrats to John Bryant! |

He deserved the POY even last year, if the WCC voting coaches had used the statistics and not the tradition of picking a player from the league's season
champion. Last year's POY Pargo bounced down to Honorable Mention. John went from first team to POY. I'll take that general direction, thank you.
Maybe the award will make Big John noticed in some nice places. We can dream, can't we? http://www.nbadraft.net/2009mock_draft
