Although this season has been rough- it is certainly a highlight to see one of our players getting ready to go to the NBA. John Bryant is a Beast as well as a
classy young man. Can't wait to see him step up to the next level!

Thanks for posting that video 04, I've never seen it. I do have to criticize Nash's knowledge of
Bronco NBA history. To say that SCU hadn't had an NBA player since Rambis would be incorrect. I can think of 2 that played between Rambis and
Nash.

I'm a long time lurker - Had to register to test my Bronco trivia knowledge. Granted this all occurred before my time at Santa Clara - Here's my
feeble attempt at Bronco trivia.. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I listed their first season in the NBA along with their first team.
Kurt Rambis, 1981-82, Los Angeles Lakers Mark McNamara, 1982-83, Phoenix Suns Harold Keeling, 1985-86, Dallas Mavericks Nick Vanos, 1985-86, Phoenix Suns Steve Nash 1996-97 Phoenix Suns |

Nicely done lurker. I don't like to count McNamara since he transferred to Cal. Throw in Awtrey also who
finished his career in Phoenix and you have an odd coincidence that all the players you listed, except Keeling, ended up playing in Phoenix at some point. My
guess is that had Keeling decided to keep playing in the NBA rather than overseas, he too would have ended up in Phoenix.

I think Bryant has NBA potential but if you look at the bodies on NBA big men for John to match or hang with those guys he'll need to add some muscle. His skills for his size are for sure at NBA level. Any news on White? |

grad in the video... Yes it was an odd combination of everyone with ties to Phoenix (I didn't realize it until I actually put it down on paper).

no need for the tickets, I have season tix already. Agreed on not counting McNamara, I remember watching him and then feeling betrayed when he bolted for Cal.
Let's not forget to mention Marlon's few games with the Celtics just a couple years after Steve entered the NBA.

Well, maybe i really don't miss all the leaks, bad lighting and compressed air, but it does bring back memories.
Is the mystery alum in the video Bill Duffy? Seems kind of obvious, so maybe i've missed a hugger/handshaker among the table. |
