I just wanted to check and see if SCU or members of this board had anything set up the weekend of the WCC tournament in Vegas. I will be out there for business that week and have extended my stay through Sunday to hopefully catch a game. I know that at this point in time we are unsure of when our first game will be, but I was curious as to whether or not there have been any "tentative" plans set up. Also, are single session tickets going to be available, or do you have to buy the entire package? It appears that the only option right now is to buy the entire tournament package.

Good to get the split last night in SoCal. Any W is a good W.

I called the WCC offices a month back and asked about single game tickets. They told me there will be individual game tickets put on sale for each game although they might be standing room only. I would be SHOCKED if any of the games, except for the championship game, were sold out, so a standing room only ticket would get you in the door and then you could find a seat.

Figured I'd continue to convo about Vegas. My flight is booked and in the process of making further plans (hotels, tix, etc) for about 4-5 of us class of '06 Broncos. Where is everyone staying? Looks like the Orleans is pretty expensive, whereas other places have rooms for about $50-60 bucks.

Other thoughts?

TI seemed to have some nice deals when I booked a couple of weeks ago ($65/night). Anywhere on the strip is a cheap cab ride away from the Orleans.

Got an email from the Bronco Bench (if you are on this forum and cared at all about the strength of bronco sports, you should be a donor). They've got a VIP suite and are hosting happy hour before each game. $25 for the weekend. Call 'em up.

Found a good deal for the Imperial for Sat. night and then will be at the Rio Sunday. Flying in Saturday evening and having to leave Monday morning because of work, so hopefully SCU makes the semis, which is the night my tickets are good for. Look forward to seeing plenty of Bronco fans over the weekend.

I'll be the guy dressed like Dan Tanna. (Possibly out-dated reference for the younger crowd??? Haha)

unless your riding with the '06 posse in that strech Hummer ... or you're thinking more GREEN ( or Eco-GREEN ) ... there's

the Deuce, the double-decker public buses that run along the Strip 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Spent: $3 per person

Saved: $9, based on $15 cab ride for two

Ruff Riders are not having a designated trip to Vegas. They will be all over. Some of RR Council is staying at the Orleans with the other spirit squads. I kinda want to get a group together for some sort of "tailgate" before the game. I can't wait! I'm so excited!

With the WCC Tournament in Vegas just around the corner, we thought it would be a good idea to extend the invitation of the BBF hospitality suite to other SCU fans that are making the trip. Our group is staying in The Orleans, and there will be several pre-game receptions in my suite (room number TBA) before Men's and Women's SCU games.

A flat fee of $25 (preferably paid before March 6th) enables you to attend our pre-game receptions before any SCU game! If you are interested in attending, please contact me! We hope you can make it!

Still considering vegas? haven't booked a flight? go to southwest.com flights from both SFO and SJ to Las Vegas are now $38 each way ($100 after taxes) for Fri-Mon for this weekend!

Also, FYI all your flights are refundable. I'd suggest you get a refund for your current flight and book one of these so you have a little more $$ for the casinos!
