Posts: 1 03/04/08 05:53:34	Tags : None First as a Zag fan I sincerely hope that young Mr. Angley recovers in time to lead the Broncos into the WCC tournament. Coach Keating your abrupt departure from the game last night after shaking Coach Few's hand and then ignoring the other Zag coaches and the entire team shows an immaturity that is a flaw for a head coach. Dick Davey is and always will be your better. I know the loss was disappointing but Sir, you are a teacher of young men and that was a classless example of bad sportsmanship. Shame on you. Bronco's please forgive me for this intrusion on your board but to me a coach has to be more than just about wins and losses. Good luck in the tournament.

And maybe he was upset that you were throwing up alley-oops with a 35 point lead? Just a thought. I didn't see Kansas doing that when they were up 50 last night. They just continued to play hard and run their offense, not show anybody up.

Posts: 151 03/04/08 15:13:05	I watched the replay of the game and had a few thoughts. First off, I don't blame Few for running it up on us. He emptied his bench with 5 minutes in the game. That is actually a long time for the bottom of your bench to get to play. If guys don't get to play a lot, I don't get upset with them for trying to do things that will get them attention with the crowd. Sort of like Josh Higgins firing up a 3 in his final home game. Part of the problem is their bench is better than most of our starters. In regards to Keating, I would like to hear his explanation as to what happened. I have a feeling he wasn't trying to be classless, it seemed to me he felt he needed to be somewhere else urgently. When he shook Few's hand he didn't seem upset. He then said something and ran off. Few looked concerned then asked the next coach in line if somebody was alright (I'm guessing Brody). Maybe Keating was running off to find a backup point guard for this weekend?

Posts: 19 03/04/08 17:19:08	Didn't see what happened with KK at the end of the game but if he did bail out of the reception line maybe it had something to do with Brody's injury. Anybody heard anything about his condition? Having a concussion with memory lapses does not sound good.

Posts: 21 03/06/08 10:22:03	I'm no doctor but I think an enlarged spleen is sometimes associated with mononucleosis. Sigh. You know it's a tough season when the hot topics are concussions and enlarged spleens. Pass the aspirin and Go Broncos!
